Barbara Mayfield began her independent color consultancy in 2017, after two years at a major paint company. She works on-site, in-person as well as on the Zoom platform. She works directly with homeowners, interior designers, painting contractors and architects on interior and exterior projects from modest to grand.

In the studio, she works in oil on canvas, panel and paper, and in acrylic and mixed media/assemblage/collage. For many years she worked in monotype. Her imagery is of the wonder and magic of the natural world in a strong, contemporary style in saturated color. There are several places to see her artwork: here and here and here.
